About MandyGal
I am the third-born daughter of four. I grew up working with my grandfather on our family peach farm. In fact, my home is built on land that used to be a peach orchard. Papaw taught me the value of hard work, integrity, and treating customers with respect.

We are a musical family and have sung together for as long as I can remember. I love the beach, action movies, music, reading, and playing games with my family. (We might be slightly competitive with each other. )

I live with my Goldendoodle, Milo, and am a proud aunt -- especially of our most recent addition, a grand-nephew who is the cutest child ever in the whole wide world and I will fight you to the death over that truth!

How it started...
It's going to sound crazy, but since I was a teenager, I've wanted to work in some type of office administration capacity. Usually, when a child says they want to "help people", you think of nurses, doctors, missionaries, firemen, police, etc. In my thinking, the best way to help people is to take things they 'need' to do, but don't 'like' to do, and do it for them.
Only recently have I remembered being on a road trip with my stepmother, I was probably about 14 or so, and whipping out a notepad, asking her what we needed to do. I wanted to figure out the best way to get it all done. I took typing and shorthand in high school (the shorthand I never used professionally)! I went to Community College and got my associate degree in "Secretarial Science." (I think they call it Office and Business Technology now.) 30+ years and lots of jobs later, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business, and in 2023 I earned my OBM Accreditation. I love to learn and am pretty much always taking some course or another to broaden my skills.

While in college (the first time), I worked in offices in a department store and a pharmacy. Since then, I've worked for a large manufacturing company, a record label, a promotional items company, a small law firm, helped set up POS for a retail gift shop, and had my own direct sales business.
How it's going...
Having spent some time working remotely, both as a virtual assistant and a remote operations manager, I have learned the importance of communication, automation, and setting up great systems. Systemizing/Automating as much as possible while keeping it fresh and personal is my jam.
